Mainframe Developer

To work assigned to a healthcare services company

Location: Hybrid in Guadalajara or Mexico City (few times per month in the office)

Role:

The Mainframe Programmer will review, analyze, and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale mainframe computer system. The Mainframe Programmer will maintain and develop on-line and batch application programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Advanced conversational English.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in Mainframe technologies

• Proficient in COBOL,CICS, JCL, TSO, VSAM, MVS1, ESM/CA7 scheduler, SQL DB2, and Xpediter.

• Abend-Aid strongly preferred. Experience in other relational databases and debugging tools can be substituted.

• Good knowledge in IBM DB2

• MQ and Web service interface knowledge

• Basic knowledge of SSRS

Basic knowledge of Linux / shell scripting.
