Eligibility criteria Firewall engineer ? L3
6-8 years of experience in enterprise networking and network security.
At least 4-5 years’ experience in Juniper Next Generation firewalls and any other perimeter security solutions.
Technical certification of Juniper firewall technologies.
Knowledge and experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP etc. and cloud native security controls.
- Knowledge of ticketing tools. Such as Remedy, CA and ServiceNow tools
Job description for Juniper firewall engineer
Experience in implementing/migrating and managing Juniper Next Generation firewalls and firewall management solution. (On-premises and Cloud)
Experience in designing network security architecture with Next Generation firewalls and other network components for the customers as per the target architecture and best practices.
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting security features of Juniper Next Generation Firewalls (IDS/IPS, ATP, Ant-Malware, Anti-spyware, Application Controls, Anti-Virus, sandbox etc.)
Experience in providing technical subject matter expertise wherever required, ensuring proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis manager.
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Site to site VPN, Remote access VPN and SSL VPN.
Should be able to handle L2/L3 tickets for Juniper Next Generation firewalls and other network security controls.
Plan and schedule Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders.
Participate in business meetings with various stake holders on a need basis.
Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects.
- Training of new team members. Able to work on Knowledge acquisition and updates to related documents.
Experience in creating the implementation documentation and SOPs.
