What to Expect
We are seeking an energetic, team-oriented people-person to be responsible for the performance of Quality Technicians and Inspectors on shift. The Supervisor will lead and manage a team of Technicians and Inspectors to ensure they perform at a high level while meeting the needs of the production floor and product quality. This individual will be responsible for Quality assurance related metrics for their shift. They will performance manage their team to generate the highest value from every employee while maintaining a high level of technical ability.
What You’ll Do
  • Guide and coordinate Technicians and Inspectors, ensuring adherence to quality procedures and specifications through training and supervision
  • Implement cost reduction and process optimization initiatives, collaborating on TSORT/SSORT and inspections closure targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like SIE, SQE, Production, Quality Engineers, and MH Teams to prioritize shift tasks and labor allocation
  • Drive improvement activities to enhance team knowledge and capability, adhering to Continuous Improvement processes (PDCA)
  • Conduct daily meetings with shop leaders, report on shift activities, and maintain strict adherence to 5S standards for cleanliness
  • Ensure safety compliance during task execution, particularly in hazardous areas with chemicals and materials
  • Utilize schematics, diagrams, and written/verbal instructions for work execution and maintain quality performance metrics, driving solutions to root causes and auditing manufacturing line processes
What You’ll Bring
  • Engineering degree or equivalent exceptional experience
  • Minimum 2 years' people management experience
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, Quality methodologies, and team leadership
  • Flexible work schedule and environment adaptability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to provide constructive feedback
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; adept at multitasking and adapting to change
  • Compliance with confidentiality, PPE, and physical requirements; certifications are a plus
