We are looking for Cloud Developer

Main responsabilities:

• Design and implementation of Kafka/Confluent architectures: Develop and implement distributed messaging architectures using Kafka and Confluent, ensuring efficiency in real-time data streaming.
• Management and optimization of Kafka clusters: Administer, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters in on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting: Establish tools and processes to monitor Kafka performance and resolve critical incidents related to data streaming.
• Development of data pipelines: Design and build real-time data pipelines using Kafka Streams, Confluent Platform, Kafka Connect, and other components of the Kafka ecosystem.
• Security and compliance assurance: Implement security measures (authentication, authorization, encryption) and ensure the platform complies with security standards and regulations.
• Integration with other systems: Collaborate with other development teams to integrate Kafka with enterprise systems and applications (databases, microservices, data lakes, etc.).
• Continuous improvement: Identify areas for improvement in data streaming processes and make recommendations to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
• Documentation and best practices: Create and maintain detailed documentation on Kafka configuration, security policies, workflows, and best practices.
• Previous experience: Experience working in high-load environments and distributed systems. Practical knowledge in real-time data streaming in industries such as fintech, telecommunications, or e-commerce.
• Focus on enterprise solutions: Knowledge in integrating Kafka/Confluent with enterprise systems such as databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), data lakes, and Big Data solutions

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 4 years of experience working with Apache Kafka, including Confluent Platform in enterprise environments
• Programming languages: Experience in programming and scripting with languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or Go, as well as automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Cloud: Familiarity with cloud implementations of Kafka/Confluent (Azure,AWS, Google Cloud) and the use of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Certification in Kafka/Confluent Administration and Development: Solid experience in configuring and administering Kafka clusters, Kafka Streams, KSQL, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry. (Certifications: CCDAK and CCAAK).
• Troubleshooting skills: Proven ability to diagnose and solve complex performance and latency issues in Kafka clusters.
• Kafka security: Knowledge of SSL-based authentication and authorization, Kerberos, and data encryption in Kafka.
• DevOps-oriented mindset: Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and experience in implementing CI/CD in data pipelines.
