The Azure Core Partner Eco-System Product Management team is essential in driving innovative products and sustainable business models with cloud partners to provide excellent solutions for customers. We collaborate with our ecosystem and internal groups throughout the product lifecycle, from inception to global launch. Do you have a passion for improving Azure Platform Infrastructure solutions using feedback from Artificial Intelligence (AI) application development communities and building the platform to meet the needs of AI Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and System Integrators (SI)? Are you keen on understanding the needs of the partner ecosystem and delivering a top-tier cloud platform that they can leverage to develop their capabilities? Are you interested in learning from the partner ecosystem about trends in AI evolution and preparing the Azure Platform Infrastructure to address emerging trends and provide developers with the right tools? Do you want to influence the ISV community and contribute to their future AI application roadmaps? Are you eager to work with global SIs to create or expand centers of excellence aimed at enabling and managing large-scale Azure deployments? The Azure Core Partner Eco-System organization is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help achieve all that! As part of our Product Management team, this role will be a fantastic opportunity to work with our global ecosystem of partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies, business management and operational processes that deliver excellence, clarity and consistency for our internal teams to successfully plan and drive revenue and positive outcomes for our partners.
  • Demonstrate strategic growth mindset, drive positive business impact, and continuously learn and innovate.
  • Stay current with the latest research and technology and communicate your knowledge throughout the organization.
  • Take responsibility for preparing data for analysis, review data and provide critical feedback.
  • Remain action-oriented to build and deliver results through others beyond the team as well.
  • Capability to contribute and build collaboration within diverse and virtual teams and contribute to a diverse and inclusive team culture.
  • Engage directly internal business partners to gain insights into our partner portfolio and how we operate and lead businesses.
  • Simplify and inspire through storytelling and communication skills.
  • Define and lead strategic planning, execution, and operations management for the Azure Core engineering team with high ISV/global SI impact
  • Drive excellence through clear and consistent ISV & global SI operations.
  • Lead cross-team steering committees for each incentive or investment to create a One Microsoft approach.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud services and basic cloud architecture
  • 1+ years of exposure with basic AI concepts knowledge
Other Requirements

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the partner eco-system (in either the SIs, ISVs, startups categories)
  • Experience in designing and developing high-scale distributed systems
  • A background in machine learning and/or statistics and/or AI app development.
  • Energized by creating AI solutions that can positively impact the work and lives of millions of people.
  • Passion for data-driven learning.
  • Excited by the prospect of working on a wide variety of datasets and AI applications, across many products and engineering teams.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
