Job Title: Senior TrackWise Salesforce Technical Architect

Department: 8100 - IT

Position Overview:
Insulet, makers of the OmniPod pump for Type 1 Diabetes, is one of the fastest medical device companies in the industry and we are expanding our TrackWise Salesforce Development team! Insulet has been a Sparta/Salesforce customer for many years, and as a result, leverages many of the features provided by Salesforce. This role is a great opportunity to be hands on system architecture and project delivery across a broad range of Salesforce Developer/Architect skills. Working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Insulet’s TrackWise Complaint Management System which is an app on Salesforce App Store. We are looking for a dynamic TrackWise Salesforce Technical Architect to join our team! You will play a key role in enhancing TrackWise processes. The TrackWise Salesforce Technical Architect / Developer will work with internal teams together to develop custom solutions to fit end-to-end business process goals across various organizations including Post Market, CRM and GCx teams.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a hands on Salesforce Developer for TrackWise Digital Complaint Management System (Salesforce App on App Store)
• Implement Salesforce customizations such as custom fields and objects, page layouts, validation rules, Flows, process builders, Visualforce pages, and APIs and maintain them over time
• Aid in examining business requirements to determine system changes and improvements
• Fulfill business requirements with creative and effective technical designs
• Customize solutions to support business requirements and drive important business decisions by developing in Flow, Visualforce, Apex and Java
• Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders
• Ability to intricately learn the business’ workflows & processes and to become a knowledgeable in how the business’ systems interconnect
• Synchronize the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
• Experience with establishing appropriate requirements, definition, design, and other related project and system documentation. Must be very comfortable authoring validation documentation.
• Serve as escalation point for fellow technical leads, analysts, developers on all technical questions or issues
• Assess new tools and software, create POCs, and offer recommendations to optimize the enterprise TrackWise landscape
• Work proactively to identify and remove technical debt and security vulnerabilities
• Mentor new and existing team members
• Develop and support new apps using Apex, Flows, Aura and LWC framework for internal and external users
• Conduct on-going review of TrackWise instance to ensure operational stability and compatibility with evolving business needs
• Communicate effectively with business users on the status of enhancements, projects, and open production support tickets
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in a Science, Engineering, or Technical discipline. Master’s Degree in Computer science, technical field or relevant discipline is a plus
• Preferred 5+ years experience as lead Salesforce Technical Architect / Developer.
• Certifications- Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certification preferred. System and Application Architect certifications are a plus[GK] . Relevant experience can be substituted for Certifications.
• Proficient in Aura framework and Lighting Web Components Experience
• Experience working on web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Experience building webservices using SOAP, REST, XML, JSON
• Panel interview of developers will be interviewing the candidate for technical skills.

Desired Skills and Competencies:
• 5+ years of implementation experience, including development, across the full software development lifecycle
• 3+ years of experience in an architect role
• 2+ years of experience on the Lightning Platform with at least one of those in a lead architect role, implementing Salesforce applications and technologies
• Has held a technical architect role on multiple complex deployments, OR has gained equivalent knowledge through participation and exposure to these types of projects
• Experience guiding a development team on the appropriate use of platform technology
• Identify and mitigate technical risks across the architecture
• Experience with object-oriented design patterns
• Awareness of platform-specific design patterns and limits
• Experience developing code on the Force.com platform
• Ability to identify development-related risks, considerations, and limits for the platform
• Understanding of and ability to architect a solution to address security complexities, mechanisms, and capabilities on the Lightning Platform as part of a functional security model
• Awareness of general mobile solutions and architecture and understanding of onplatform mobile solutions and considerations
• Expertise of Salesforce elements such as permissions, profiles, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas
• Experience in developing custom components for Flow, Apex, and Visualforce
• Experience in relocating data and customizations across Salesforce environments
• Strong comprehension of Salesforce.com best practices, sandboxes, change management, data management & architecture, and usability & functionality
• Self-sufficient, flexible, and motivated team player capable of managing several activities simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently & on multiple projects against deadlines.
• Ability to work in a deadline focused, dynamic environment, consistently produce deliverables within agreed upon timelines.


NOTE: This position is hybrid position. The person will need to be on site in Acton as needed to work on Projects.

Physical Requirements:
• General office environment, may sit for long periods of time.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $131,100.00 - $196,950.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
