About the job

Technical writers plan, create, and maintain educational content as an integral part of the engineering or user experience. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. Regardless of the content medium, technical writers are distinguished by their abilities to explain complex topics in a way that’s useful to their audience.

The team's work is externally focused and creates content for web developers who want to learn about the new things that Chrome is shipping and also work with Developer Relations to write guidance and tutorials on web development best practices. You'll be working with writers, engineers, Chrome software engineers, developer marketing, and ecosystem consultants to play a role in getting clear guidance out to developers.
