As the Integration Center Operations Manager within our Data Center Operations team, you will address sophisticated topics that craft how we operate and deliver for the business. You will generate ideas that push team members and senior leaders to expand the boundaries of innovation and technology. With your technical expertise and leadership abilities, you will ensure the highest quality standards, develop procedural improvements, and serve as an expert in your field.

Description

This role is for a integration center operations manager who is responsible for a team executing on the installation, service, repair, support maintenance and testing of completed hardware racks. The integration center operations manager works closely with various planning teams on installation forecasts, logistics for the movement of IT cabinets and servers, and both manages and reports on build schedules and operations. An understanding of datacenter power and cooling principles is used to maximize efficiency of the datacenter. Responsibilities Schedule and supervise a non-exempt workforce. Inspire, coach, train, and develop personnel consistently providing extraordinary customer service and driving for results. Direct employees according to established policies and management guidance. Manage employee time-off requests as well as time card responsibilities, including edits and approvals. Forge collaborative relationships with multi-functional teams and vendors. Present technical information detailing specific projects or schedules. Provide management with performance reporting of tasks, technicians, and support functions within all key activities. Coordinate with management to ensure proper staffing levels, budgets, tools, and materials are inline with needs and expectations. Adapt and flex schedule to align with business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of data center experience
  • Minimum 1 years of related IT experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and lift as required, on a continuous basis, with items that can weigh up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work extended hours within a Data Center Environment and typically within a heat range of 60 degrees Fahrenheit upwards of 110 degrees Fahrenheit while following OSHA driven work rest cycles
  • Ability to travel up to 20% which may include international as well as domestic locations

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of data center experience with a focus on server deployments and break fix.
  • Experience with Mac OS, iOS, and Desktop applications.
  • You have hands-on experience working with compute, storage, or networking hardware for at least 5 years
  • Strategic thinker who understand the complexities of how the different functions within a datacenter intersect.
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor your message to your audience.
