OpsTech Engineering - Global Edge Compute is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large cross-organizational initiatives across Amazon's fulfillment centers worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward-thinking projects at the forefront of Amazon's robotics and automation efforts.
As a Senior TPM of the Global Edge Compute team, you will lead the delivery of a cutting-edge platform to manage over 1.5 million devices across 4,000 locations globally, enabling Amazon to revolutionize its logistics and fulfillment operations. You will partner with lead engineers and engineering managers to ensure designs meet high standards for availability, resiliency, latency, observability, and automated management.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build services that follow consistent patterns for devices worldwide, driving the roadmap to build for the long-term while delivering incremental progress.
* Anticipating business needs and creating flexible, scalable services to satisfy both current and future requirements.
* Ensuring high standards through your leadership and guidance, participating in strategic planning and brainstorming improvements.
* Maintaining comprehensive project roadmaps, deliverables, and dependencies, leveraging your exceptional organizational skills.
* Partnering with engineering managers on delivery best practices, from long-term initiative decomposition to sprint alignment.
* Meeting regularly with stakeholders to ensure solutions are meeting the needs of the business.
