DESCRIPTION

Amazon Database Migration Service (DMS) is looking for frontend engineers to own and build world-class experiences for our customers. If you’re an engineer with skills to create interactive and well-designed web interfaces, then AWS is looking for you. You will work with UX designers and SDEs on architecting, designing and implementing high performance console applications to delight customers who interact with DMS.

The AWS Database Migration Service helps customers migrate databases to AWS easily and securely. The service is used by customers across the world to migrate their most important data from their on-premises datacenters to Amazon services. Who you are:
- Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop dynamic UI experiences.
- Highly-motivated and thrive in an environment where problems are open-ended.

- Have experience in basic cross browser support, caching and optimization techniques (css sprite, minify, gzip, data uri) for faster page load times.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience
- Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
- Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
