AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

We are looking for talented Engineers to join our Virtual Platforms team.
Virtual platforms play a crucial role in accelerating the development process by enabling early software development, system-level testing, and architectural exploration without the constraints of physical prototypes.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing virtual platforms and system-level models to facilitate the development, verification, and validation of AWS advanced products.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge in software development in C/ C++.
- Knowledge of computer architecture (CPUs, networking, protocols).
- Understanding of hardware and software interaction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Strong communication skills.


- Experience developing Virtual Platforms or System-Level models for HW/SW co-design, simulation or verification.
- Experience in SystemC/TLM.
- Knowledge of ARM architecture.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
